EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS INSPECTION AT THE DUANE ARNOLD ENERGY CENTER
This refers to the routine safety insp&ction conducted by Mr. T. Ploski of
this office and others on December 14-17, 1992. The inspection included a
review of authorized activities at your Duane Arnold Energy Center.- At the
conclusion of the inspection, the findings were discussed with those m9mbers
of your staff identified in the enclosed report.
Areas examined during the inspection are identified in the report. Within
these areas, the inspection consisted of a selective examination of procedures
and representative records, interviews, and observation of activities in
progress.
No violations of NRC requirements were identified during the course of this
inspection,
in accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of
this letter and the enclosed inspection report will be placed in the NRC
Public Document Room.
We will gladly discuss any questions you have concerning this inspection.
