This letter transmits the report of the resident safety inspection conducted by Mr. D'. Vito for
the period November 3,-1992, through December 14,1992, at the Oyster Creek Nuclear -
Generating Station. The inspection consisted of document reviews, personnel interviews, and ;

observations of activities. Inspectors discussed the findings with you and members of your
. staff after' the inspection. Inspector observations during this report period indicate that
activities conducted _were safe ' nd conservative..

violation of-your personnel dosimetry requirements. The violation is not being cited due to

the identification of the condition by your personnel at the drywell entrance, the prompt
corrective actions, and recent good performance in the radiological controls area.- _ Continued
