The staff has completed its review of part of your letter dated November 8, 1983 that responds to Item 1.1 (Post-Trip Review) of Generic Letter 83-28, Required Actions based on Generic Implications of Salem ATWS Events dated July 8, 1983. The enclosed safety evaluation was prepared by the Licensee Qualification Branch with assistance from a contractor, Science Applications International Corporation.
The staff finds that the Post-Trip Program and Procedures are acceptable for Three Mile Island Nuclear Station, Unit 1 (TMI-1). This completes the staff's action for Item 1.1 of Generic Letter 83-28.
