The 1985 Yankee Emergency Exercise Plan
Dear Sir:
Enclosed are six (6) copics of the 1985 Yankee Nuclear Power Station l
Emergency Response Exercise Plan. This emergency exercise scenario has been prepared to meet the requirements of 10CFR50, Appendix E, and the objectives specified in Reference (b) for the scheduled May 15, 1985 exercise. This package describes:
(1) the proposed accident sequence, (2) the expected plant response to the accident sequence, and (3) Yankee Atomic's plans for control of the exercise.
Additionally, the success of the proposed exercise is highly dependent on the confidentiality of our exercise scenario. Therefore, we are requesting that this submittal be treated on a "need to know" basis and be withhold from public disclosure, in accordance with 10CFR Part 2.790, until the exercise has been completed.
