Report Numbers 50-277/85-99 and 50-278/85-99
The NRC Region I SALP Board conducted a review on May 13, 1985 and evaluated
the performance of activities associated with Peach Bottom Atomic Power
Station, Units 2 and 3.
The results of this assessment are documented in the
enclosed SALP Board report. A meeting has been scheduled for 2:30 p.m. on
June 12, 1985, at the Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station, Delta, Pennsylvania
to discuss this assessment. This meeting is intended to provide a forum for
candid discussions relating to this assessment.
At the meeting, you should be prepared to discuss our assessment and your
plans to improve performance where weakness was noted. You are specifically
requested to be prepared to discuss those actions planned or implemented
regarding NRC concerns in the security and radiological controls areas.
Additionally, you may provide written comments within 20 days after the
meeting.
