Dear Sir; A Technical Specification (TS) Amendment request to modify a
certain 18-month diesel generator Surveillance _ Requirements-(SRs) for McGuire' Nuclear Station-was submitted by'a letter dated February 10, 1989.
The request was_to allow for certain SRs currently required to be done-during an outage, to.be performed during power operation._:Our basis for.this request:was to allow for-greater scheduling flexibility-with.
no-impact on the safe operation of the-unit.- The initial TS Amendment request was' supplemented by my letters dated April 30 and November:16, 1992.
Attached is TS page 3/4 8-6, which replaces the same page
.that was provided by my November-16,'199211etter.
This.new" page_. corrects'an error within the same-page that was previously-submitted, in that11t adds the phrase-"during shutdown" to TS 4.8.1.1.2e.15).
