s MOTION FOR ENLARGEMENT OF TIME TO APPEAL THE LICENSING BOARD'S PARTIAL INITIAL DECISION ON THE REMANDED ISSUE OF LICENSED-OPERATOR TRAINING AT TMI-l g,

Intervenor TMIA moves for an enlargement of time until

,j July'1, 1985 to file its appeal from the Licensing Board's Partial Initial Decision on the Remanded Issue of Licensed-e Operator Training at TMI-l (May 3, 1985)

(" Training PID").

h TMIA previously filed its notice of appeal with this Appeal

,[.,

Board on May 13, 1985.

On June 7, 1985, the United' States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit stayed the effectiveness of the Commission's

,k May_29, 1985 restart order, CLI-85-09, pending the resolution

[

of the appeals filed with the court.

The court further ordered an expedited briefing schedule requiring TMIA to file its appellate brief by June 17, 1985.

Opposition briefs are due

-by June.24, 1985 and oral argument is set for June 27, 1985.

As a result of the rigors of the court's briefing schedule and other TMI-related litigation responsibilities, TMIA counsel moves _that it be allowed until July 1, 1985 to file its appeal of the Licensing Board's Training PID.
