NRC INSPECTION REPORT NOS. 50-528/529/530/92-32
This refers.to the routine inspection conducted by Messrs. G. Johnston, J..
Russell, R. Pelton, D. Desaulniers, and M. McWilliams of this office on
October 13, 1992 through October 23, 1992 of activities authorized by NRC
License Nos. NPF-41, NPF-51, and NPF-74 and to the discussion of our findings
held by the inspectors with Mr. R. Gouge and other members of the Arizona
Public Service Company staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
Areas examined during this ins)ection are described in the enclosed inspection
report. Within these areas, tie inspection consisted of selective
,
examinations of procedures and representative records, interviews with
personnel, and observations by the inspectors.
The report concludes that the operator requalification training program has
generally improved over the three year period since the last inspection of the
training program. However, the report observed that Operations involvement
with the preparation of training material could be improved.
In accordance with 10 CFR Part 2.790 of the NRC's ' Rules of Practice," a copy
of this letter and the enclosures will be placed in the NRC Public Document
Room.
