The following report highlights the operating experience of Wolf Creek Generating Station for the month of November, 1992.

This report is being provided pursuant to Technical Specification 6.9.1.8.

SUMMARY

OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE The unit operated at or tear 1002 power until November 10, 1992, at 1105 hours0.0128 days <br />0.307 hours <br />0.00183 weeks <br />4.204525e-4 months <br />, when a reactor trip occurred due to a ground fault at an off-site substation.

The fault was caused by contact between an overhead ground and the energized portion of a 138 kilovolt (kV) ring bus during clearance procedures for a 345/138 kV transformer at the substation. Non-nuclear utility personnel were performing the work at the substation.

On November 13, 1992, at 1310-hours, the unit was returned to 100 percent reactor power.
