The NRC has recently amended its regulations as part of its implementation of the Resident Inspector Program.
The amended regulations implement existing NRC authority to require that construction permit holders provide (1) onsite, rant-free, exclusive use office space and (2) immediate facility access to Commission inspection personnel.
