1.2. DESCRIPTION
The Rod Withdrawal Block Monitor Upscale Instnamentation Trip Setpoint for two recirculation loop opemtion is determined from the following relationship:
s (0.65)Wd + 43 % **
4
- Clamped, with an allowable value not to exceed the allowable vahte for recirculation loop drive flow (Wd) of 100%.
Wd is the percent of drive flow required to produce a rated core flow of 98 million Ib/hr. Trip level setting is in percent of rated power (2511 MWth).

Core Operating Limits Report 4.0 511NINIUNI CRITICAL POWER RATIO (N1CPR) (3.5/4.5) 4.1 TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION
REFERENCE:
4 Technical Specifications 3.5.K and 3.6.H 4.2 DESCRII' HON:
A q
During steady-state operation at rated core flow, the Operating Limit htCPR (OLhiCPR) shall be greater than or equal:
1.27 for t ve s 0.68 seconds a
1.37 for t ve 2 0.86 seconds a
(0.556)t ve +0.892 for 0.68 < tave < 0.86 seconds a
where t ve = mean 20% scram insertion time for all suneillance data from a
Technical Specification 4.3.C which has been generated in the current cycle.
For core flows other than rated, these nominal values of OLhtCPR shall be increased by a factor of Kf where Kf is as shown in Figure 4-1.
A cycle independent OLhtCPR of 1.31 (Option B) was calculated (Reference 6) for operation with a Feedwater Heater Out-of-Service (FWHOOS). Therefore, the OLhfCPR, calculated using the above information, shall be incmased by 0.04 whenever operating with a FWHOOS.
This event, which conservatively bounds the requirements detailed within the EOD/EOOS document (Reference 6), goes beyond all normal opemting conditions in the SRLR j
(Tleference 3).
