operation of the Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station (0CNGS) in Oceen County, New Jersey. Notice of consideration of issuance of this atendment was published in the Federal Register on February 27,198E, (50 FR 7987).
The anendment, as proposed in the iustification for the change by the licensee, would change the OCNGS Appendix B Technical Specifications, - Section 3.1.4, k'ater Quality Study, to reduce the frequency of calibrating the instruments for measuring water salinity, water temperature and dissolved oxygen. The licensee's application for changes to Section 3.1.4 was incomplete in that it did not address'the following changes which are also in the licensee's proposed rewording.of Section 3.1.4:
(1) changing water temperature to terperature, (2) chancing the frequency of calibrating

All other provisions of the amendment request have been approved by Amendment No. 83.
