REVIFF N FINAL RULE: " STANDARDS FOR PROTECTION AGAIN6; RADIATION; EXTENSION OF IMPLEMENTATION DATE" The Rules and Directives Review Branch has reviewed the final rule package that will revise 10 CFR Part 20, to extend the implementation-date for the revised standards for protection against radiation from January 1, 1993, to January 1, 1994. We have attached a marked copy of the final rule that presents minor comments.
We have forwarded a copy of the final rule to the Information and Records Management Branch, IRM, for their comment or concurrence concerning the paperwork management aspects of this rulemaking action.
In order to assist in the preparation of the list of documents centrally relevant to this rulemaking action that is required by NRC's regulatory history procedures, the designator "AE21-2" should be placed in the upper right-hand corner of each document concerning the rule that is forwarded to the Nuclear Document System.
