The first need for Framatome is to transport gadolinium rods (PWR AFA3G 17x17 design) between the US and France The objective is to qualify the production of these gadolinium rods in their Richland, WA facility for their French customer EDF in 2022 first semester.
240 rods (12 and 14) are forecasted to be fabricated and shipped to Romans, France end of 2022 first semester in 1 FCC3 and 2 FCC4.
The second need is to qualify the Richland, WA facility to fabricate 28 fuel assemblies PWR AFA3G 17x17 UNE 12 for their French customer EDF and ship them to Romans, France The shipping schedule is not finalized yet but if possible they would like to ship as early as Q3-2022 in 14 FCC3.
The third need is to transport gadolinium rods (PWR AFA3G 17x17 design and AFA3G 15x15 design) between the US and France.
The objective is to qualify the production of these gadolinium rods in their Richland, WA facility for their customers abroad (outside of France) in 2023 first semester.
260 rods (12) are forecasted to be fabricated and shipped to Romans, France end of 2023 first semester in 1 or 2 FCC3.
