Pursuant to the requirements of 10CFR50.55a(g) and 10CFR50.36, Southern Nuclear Company herewith submits the Joseph M. Farley Nuclear Plant Unit 2 Interval 1/ Period 3/ Outage 3 and Interval 2/ Period 1/0utage 1 Inservice Inspection Reports. These reports describe and summarize the inservice inspection activities performed during the Unit 2 eighth refueling outage. These activities were completed May 6, 1992.
Completion of the Unit 2 First Ten Year Interval examinations were deferred until the eighth refueling outage per the ASniE Code,Section XI, IWA-2400. The results of these examinations are reported in the Interval 1/ Period 3/0utage 3 report.
Completely separate and distinct examinations and reports were made as required for each Interval's examinations.
Included in the Interval 2/ Period 1/0utage 1 report are the results of the steam generator eddy currcnt testing conducted during this outage as required by 10CFR50.55a(g) and Section 4.4.6.5.b of the Farley Nuc'. ear Plant Unit 2 Technical Specifications.
Specifically, the results and a summary may be found in Tab B.
Other pertinent report information is available at Farley Nuclear Plant for your review.
This information includes as applicable, examination plans and schedules, examination results and reports, examination methods and procedures, evaluation results, and corrective actions and repairs.
