50-440; 50-441 Potential Leakage Path in Electronics Housing Threads of Transmitters Supplied by Rosemount [ RDC 115(84) ]
Dear Mr. Keppler:
This letter serves to update the status of our corrective actions associated with Rosemount Model 1153 Series B Pressure Transmitters as discussed in our Final Report dated January 24, 1985.
These transmitters had potential for a leakage path in the seal of the threads between the sensor module and the n.lectronics housing.
All subject Rosemount transmitters have been repaired by the ven-dor and returned to the site.
The corrective actions necessary for resolution of the reported deficiency have now been completed.
The reinstallation of Unit 1 transmitters will be completed consistent with the Preoperational Test schedule.
