McGuire Nuclear Station Units 1 and 2 Docket Nos. 50-369, 370 Preliminary Accident Sequence Precursor Analysis Request for Additional Information On 8/5/95, the NRC issued the ' Preliminary Accident Sequence Precursor (ASP) Analysis of the Failure of the Turbochargers Associated With The Emergency Diesel Generators McGuire Nuclear Station, Units 1 and 2'.
The 8/5/95 letter requested comments on the preliminary ASP review within thirty days.
Per our telecon of August 28, 1996, please find attached additional technical information related to the June, 1995 failures of the McGuire EDG turbochargers.
Following the completion of' reanalysis of the preliminary ASP by ORNL using the attached information, McGuire plans to provide additional comments as requested per your August 5, 1996 letter.
