Dear Mr. Stolz:
Under separate cover, we are transmitting three (3) original and forty (40) conformed copies of an application for Amendment to Facility Operating License No. NPF-3 for the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station Unit No. 1.
This application requests that the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Ltation Unit 1 Technical Specifications, Appendix A, be revised to reflect the changes attached. The proposed changes in Tabic 3.6-2:
1.
The deletion of the isolation time for the High Pressure Injection (HPI) and Containment Spray (CS) Lines, 2.
The deletion of the redundant listing for DH87 and DH88 and 3.
Correct the valve number identification for the Core Flood Tank Nitrogen Fill, Sample and Vent Lines.
The attachment identifies the proposed change, Safety Evaluation and Sig;nificant Hazard Consideration.
Item 1 concerns the deletion of the isolation time for the HPI and CS lines because they are required to be open to perform their safety function.
Item 2 and 3 are to correct typographical errors in the Technical Specifications.
Toledo Edison request that the above amendment request be issued by December 1985.
