Dear Mr. Denise:
Fort Calhoun Station Physical Security Plan Change In Reference (2), the District stated that a revised Physical Security Plan (PSP) would be submitted to the NRC on May 1, 1985.
This review was comprehensive and complete. As a result of this review, changes have been proposed to the PSP.
These PSP changes reflect enhancements or clarifications to the PSP. The changes that have been made to the PSP are of a type that would normally be submitted pur-suant to 10 CFR 50.54(p).
Based on the number and the extent of the changes nade to the PSP, it was agreed in a telephone call between the District and NRC Region IV personnel on April 30, 1985, that a draft working copy of the revised PSP would be submitted to Region IV for Commission review.
It was also stated that the District would meet with Region IV, if necessary, to discuss the PSP changes prior to a formal 10 CFR 54(p) submittal. The District believes this approach will al-l low an exchange of information which would help expedite NRC review and final con-currence.
