Dear Mr. Taylor:

This is a follow-up to my letter of April 2,1985, which described a Potential Reportable Event related to the Perry Nuclear Power Plant.

Preliminary evaluations indicate that this item does not constitute a substantial safety hazard. However, final documentation will not be completed until May 31, 1985, when you will be notified of our final conclusion.

Very truly yours, W. F. Sailer WFS:kb cc: H. Lorenz C. D. Williams K. R. Pech - CEI J. M. Taylor - (2)
