By letter dated June 23,1992, Southern Nuclear Operating Company submitted proposed changes to the Farley Unit I and Unit 2 Technical Specifications in accordance with the recommendations contained in Generic Letter 89 01. On October 15,1992, Southern Nuclear Operating Company received comments by conference call from the Nuclear Regulatory Commission stalTon the submittal package. The comments are summarized as follows and are applicable to both the Farley Unit 1 and Unit 2 proposed Technical Specification changes.

. The page number reference for the Startup Report listed on inuex page XIX should be 6-15c instead of 6-15a.

. The word Manual" was inadvertently deleted from the reference to the OfTsite Dose Calculation Manual pravided on the revised typed page of 3/41 t-8.

Revised typed pages of the proposed technical specifications which incor orate the corrections dese,ibed above are provided in the attachment to this letter. These revisions do not have any impact on the safety analysis or the significant hazards consideration evaluation provided in the June 23,1992, submittal.

A copy of these corrected pages is being sent to Dr. Carole Samuelson, the Alabams State Designee, in accordance with 10 CFR 50.91(b)(1).
