Dear Dr. Murley,
l Reference (a) transmitted Revision 2 to LaSalle County Station's IST Program.
Since that time, reviews of the program and plant modifications have been performed which necessitate revision of the Program. Attached is Revision 3 of the LaSalle Units 1 and 2 IST Program, and a Summary of Changes lieting, Please contact this office with any questions.

- 4) AIR 373-251-90-00034 " Extrapolation & Trending Requirements for Appendix J Containment Isolation Valves" The LaSalle Incorvice Testing Program is being revised based on a NRC audit performed during June and July of 1992 (Reference 1).
This revision also includes other changes which stem.from other program reviews and non-IST changes.
The following is a short summary of the program changes.
- 1) Relief Request RP-11 has been addod to Section 5.
Relief Request RP-11 now goveras pump different.al pressure and *zowrate acceptance criteria.

- 2) Note 16 has been deleted from Section 3.2.
The contents and actions of this Note.have been addressed-by Relief Request RP-11.
All references to Not 16 have been deleted from Section 4.
(Note:
This revision does have a Note 16, however in the previous a
revision this "as Note l'.
Since the previous Note 16 was. deleted Note 17 became Note _16.)
- 3) Relief Requast RV-19 has been revised. per requirements of-Generic Letter 89-04.
Leak-rate results for Containment Isolation Valves will not be trended and extrapolated.
The revised Relief Request has been included in Section 7.
4)F lief Request RV-26 has been revised per requirements of IST Prog 1am SER and NRC Audit (Reference 1).
Individual stroke times for Scram Discharge Volume Vent and Drain Valve-will be recorded and trended..The revised Relief Request has been included in Section'7.'
The stroke time test has been added to the Test
.fic.ld of Section 6 and'to the Valve / Surveillance Cross Reference Matrix.
- 5) Fail safe test for 1(2)B33-F019 was not included as a required test'in the previous revisions, this was a typographical u
omission.-
LaSalle Station has been performing a f ail safe test on these valves however, it was not documented as a requirement in the IST Program.
The fail safe test requirement has been added to the
- Test fields of Section 6 and to the Valve / Surveillance Cross Reference and is included in this revision.

The valves, 2E22-F001, 2E22-F010, and 2E22-F011, are located on the piping which connects the Condensate Storage Tank to -
the HPCS System.
This' piping has been capped and LaSallelis no longer taking credit for this piping.
Specifications have not 'been revised. The UFSAR and Technical to reflect this change',
- however, AIR 373-160-90-00041 is tracking' this update.
The s
corresponding valves in Unit 1
are scheduled for the same modification during L1R05.
These valves will be deleted from the-IST Program in'a subsequent revision.
