Washington, DC 20555-0001 MONTICELLO NUCLEAR GENERATING PLANT Docket No. 50-263 License No. DPR-22 Inservice inspection {lSI) Examination Summary Report - Refuelino Outaae No.18 Enclosed for your information is the Inservice inspection (ISI) examination summary report for the 1996 Monticello refueling outage (Refueling Outage No.18). The 1996 outage inspection represented the second period of Monticello's third 10-year ISI interval.
The enclosed report identifies components examined, the examination methods used, the examination number, and summarizes the results. The examination plan focused on: 1) the pressure retaining components and their supports associated with the reactor coolant system and associated systems c'assified as ASME Classes 1 and 2; 2) reactor vessel examination;
- 3) system pressure testing; and 4) snubber inservice testing. All anomalies were either corrected or an engineering evaluation was performed to accept "as-is" conditions.
This submittal contains no new NRC commitments, nor does it modify any prior commitments.
