McGuire Nuclear Station Docket Nos. 50-369 and 50-370 Request for Changes to the Preventative Maintenance Program for Reactor Trip Breakers.

Dear Mr. Denton:

In reference to Mr. T. M. Novak's letter of February 22, 1985 requesting changes to the preventative maintenance program for reactor trip breakers at McGuire Nuclear Station Units 1 and 2, Duke Power requests an extension to the requested response date.

Much of the information requested is generic to the Westinghouse Owner's Group.

On this basis, we request that the response date be delayed until May 24, 1985, in order to allow Duke the opportunity to discuss with the Westinghouse Owner's Group an appropriate response.
