Dear Sirs:

We ' respectfully request a ruision to our existing Licenso No. R-

79. Paragraph 2.B.2 presently allows us to possess a maximum of 4.95 kg of U-235 with an enrichment of less than 20%. We request to havo this limit revised to 5.5 kg to allow us the flexibility to store all of tho LEU fuel presently fabricated specifically for us plus the provision for an additional olement.

We propose that paragraph 2.B.2 road as follows:

2.B.2 Pursuant to the Act and 10 CFR Part 70, " Domestic Licensing of Special Nuclear Material," to receive, possess and use up to a maximum of 5.55 kilograms Rev.

of contained uranium-235 at various enrichments, up to a maximum of 200 grams of plutonium-239 in the form of scaled plutonium-beryllium neutron sources in connection with operation of the reactor, and to possess, but not separate, such special nuclear material as may bo produced by tho operation of the facility. Without exceeding the foregoing maximum possession limits, the maximum limits on specific onrichments of U-235 aro as follows:

Maximum U-235
