L By letter dated October 7,1992 (Serial: BSEP-92-0024), Carolina Power & Light Company (CP&L) submitted to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) a request for a temporary waiver of compliance concerning ECCS actuation and injection permissive instrumentation for the Brunswick Steam Electric Plant, Unit Nos.1 and 2. The purpose of this letter is to withdraw CP&L's request for a temporary walver of compliance, As recently discussed with members of the NRC staff, CP&L plans to resubmit a portion of the previous request as a proposed one-time license amendment.
