'The reporting period began and ended with the Unit in Mode 1 at 100% rated thermal power. The Unit operated continuously during the reporting period with the major power reductions required to remove condenser halves from service to check for condenser tube leaks.

Gross electrical generation for the month was 675,980 MWH.

Summary:

2-03-85' At 1952 reactor power was decreased to 70% to remove "A" South main condenser half from service for tube leak checks.

2-04-85 At 2318 while power was at 70%, "A" South main condenser half was returned to service and "C" North main con-denser half removed from service for tube leak checks.

2-06-85 At 0027 "C" North condenser half was returned to service; at 0037 "C" South condenser half was removed from service for tube leak checks.

2-06-85 At 1743 "C" South condenser half was returned to service; at 1755 "A" North condenser half was removed from service for tube leak checks.

2-07-85 At 0325 "A" North condenser half returned to service.

One tube was plugged. At 0340 "B" North condenser half was removed from service.

2-07-85 At.0345 reactor power was increased to 80%.

2-07-85 At 1507 reactor power was decreased from 80% to 70% to remove "B" North main condenser half from service to inspect for tube leaks. "B" North was returned to service at 1952.

2-08-85 At 0800 started increasing reactor power. Stopped increase at 74% at 1008. At 1420 began increasing reactor power to 100%.

2-08-85 At 1430,"B" South ccndenser was restored to service.

2-08-85 At 1920, reactor power reach 6d 100%.

2-11-85 At 0710 the Turbine Driven Auxiliary Feedwater Pump was declared inoperable, due to an air leak on the trip and throttle valve causing the valve to go wide open.

2-11-85 At 1450 the TDAFP was declared operable after the air k leak was repaired.

2-16-85 At 1915 "C" South condenser half was removed from service for leak checks. At 0024 "C" South was re-turned-to service.

' FEBRUARY, 1985 M--l Investigated No. 2 RCP motor to determine reason for high

' break-away_ torque when attempting to rotate the shaft manu-ally. Removal of the flywheel exposed the oil pot, revealing 1 a broken oil lift'line. The line was secured using a new fitting and-the motor reassembled. . Break-away torque was ~

checked with the oil lift system in service and found to be within acceptable limits.

M-2 Repaired leak at 2 inch socket weld in the East Containment Spray _ Pump eductor line connection to the spray pump suction line. A hydrostatic test was performed to verify weld repair integrity.
