Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station Docket No. 50-219 NUREG-0737 Item II.B.3 Post Accident Sampling System The purpose of this submittal is to advise you of a delay in the implementation of our Post Accident Sampling System (PASS) construction schedule.
Your order dated June 17, 1983, required PASS to be fully operational within six (6) months after startup from the Cycle 10 refueling outage.
Our letter dated February 10, 1984, stated that the PASS would be turned over to the plant in mid-October, however, we find that we cannot meet this commitment cate. Due to the late delivery of certain critical components and m'aterials, engineering problems and production delays, we do not expect PASS to be operable prior to December 31, 1984.
