Dear Mr. Denise:
This letter provides the final report submitted pursuant to 10CFR50.55(e) concerning the removal and replacement of ASME components in support of cleaning and flushing activities at Wolf Creek Generating Station (WCGS).
This matter was initially reported on July 11, 1984 with supplemental information provided in the Reference.
As described in the Reference, an investigation into the program for the handling and storage of ASME components removed from systems in support of flushing and cleaning activities was conducted. As a result of that investigation, program modifications have been made to enhance the program in areas such as tagging, logging, and storage requirements. However, no hardware deficiencies were identified during the investigation.
The aforementioned corrective actions have been completed. If you have any questions concerning this matter, please contact me or Mr. Otto Maynard of my staff.
