- Summary of Operating IDcperience December 1984 Following a scheduled two day outage to perform maintenance on the main T
boiler feed pumps during which the plant was maintained in hot shutdown,
- Indian Point Unit 2 was made critical on December 1 and subsequently
~
! raised to 65% reactor power on December 2.
I
- On December 4, power was increased to 1004 reactor power where it was maintained until December 19 when the Unit was brought to hot shutdown due to a damaged main generator hydrogen seal.
s On December 28 the RCS was cooled below 350 F where it was maintained for the remainder of the report period to facilitate maintenance on the No. 21 Safety Injection pump.
