On June 28,
- 1991, the NRC _ issued Generic Lotter No.
88-20, Supplomont 4,
requesting that licenscos perform an IPEEE and describe the methods, milestones, and schedule for performing the IPEEE.
Waterford 3 via letter W3F191-0657, dated December 20, 1991, described the program and mothods f,r performing the IPEEE.
11owever, a schedule was not provided sinco the completion of the IPE*9 was predicated on the NRC Supplemental Snfoty Evaluation m un '
(SSER) on the Seismic Qualification Utility Group (SQUG) 1 ic Implomontation Procedure which was not issued at that time.

This letter providec the requested information.
Entergy Operations, Inc., Waterford 3 will complets the IPEEE for Waterford 3 and submit the results to the NRC by December 31, 1994.
The ovaluation will be conducted in accordance with Waterford 3 letter W3F191 0657 submitted to the NRC on December 20, _1991.
- The submittal-date for the IPEEE is after the date requested in Generic-Lotter 88-20, -but prior to the date set by the NRC for closing savore accident issues. This schadule is necessary so that in-containment walkdowns that may.be required for the seismic or fire evaluation can be'dono during the planned refueling outage in the Spring of 1M 4.
This schedule will provide the additional time that is needed to incorporate the walkdown information into the 92003 % h h 82

Although Waterford 3 has a refueling outago scheduled for the Fall of 1992,_the unavailability to Waterford 3 personnel of industry training on seismic evaluations precludes performance of in-containment walkdowns at that time.
