Atlanta, GA 30323 Dear Mr. Bassett I regret to inform you that Dr. Betty K. Revsin, due to sickness and personal reasons has resigned her position at Goorgia Tech. Effective immediately, Mr. James C. O'Hara has been appointed as interim Manager, Office of Radiation Safety.

Mr. O'Hara has had many years of experience in radiological engineering, assessments, inspections, and audits. Ile participated in safety assessments and hazards classification of DOE's facilities at the Idaho National Engineering Laboratory. He spent one year on loan, assigned to INPO's Radiological Protection and Emergency Preparedness Division. Ile has written plant-specific radiation protection and emergency training courses. He was a member of the Radiological Engineering /ALARA team during the recovery period of the Three-Mile Island Unit 2. In short, Mr.

O'Hara has deep roots in the field of radiation protection and is eminently qualified to manage the Office of Radiation Safety at Georgia Tech for the next 3-6 months. Mr. O'Hara's biosketch is enclosed.
