Dear Mr. Schwencer:
This letter is to confirm actions taken to satisfy License Condition 2.C(18) of the Lirnerick Unit 1 Operating License NPF-27.
License Condition 2.CC18) requires that prior to exceeding five percent of rated power we should have developed and implemented plant procedures addressing (a) the methods and resources for repair of spray pond piping, (b) operation of the spray pond in either of closed cycle or once through cooling rnodes, (c) restoration of offsite power to the Schuylkill River rnakeup purphouse and (d) the verification of availability of portable pums to pum water from the Schuylkill River to the spray pond punphouse wetwells.
PECo has developed and approved for Irnplementation plant procedures to address the above items (a), (b) and (c). The availability of portable pums for item (d) has been verified.
