Dear Mr. Denton:

On June 15, 1984, Duke Power Company submitted Revision 10 to the Catawba FSAR. Included in this revision was an updated training program description in Section 13.2.

As a result of discussions with the NRC Staff, it was agreed'that footnotes 4 and 5 on Figure 13.2.2-1.were not consistant with the training program for licensed operators as implemented at Catawba and should be deleted. Therefore, these footnotes will be deleted in Revision 12 to the FSAR as shown on the attached marked up page.
