PURSUANT TO TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION 6.9.2 (2-SR-84-13)
Dear Mr. O'Reilly:
During an IGSCC/ pipe snubber inspection outage on Unit I concurrent with a
- reactor startup on. Unit 2, a Unit 2 fire barrier LCO was initiated on November 10, 1984, for a fire door in the units' common Emergency AC Diesel i
Generator Building.
The subject fire door, No. 201, is located at. fire barrier penetration seal RNo. DG-3-404 on the 50-foot south elevation of the building. Door No. 201 provides personnel access to the elevation from the southern stairwell of the building. The involved LCO was initiated due to the inability of the door to -
properly close as a result of excessive differential pressure conditions at the door. On November 17, 1984, the specified seven-day time frame of the LCO was exceeded. Until resolution of_the excessive differential pressure
-condition affecting fire door No. 201, the involved LCO and appropriately-stationed fire watches will remain in effect.
Very truly yours, y
