the following in connection with NRC Bill No. D0171 dated February 5,1985, in the amount of $1.118,000 for the review of the Stagit/Hanford 1/2
- Construction Permit (CP) application through the time that it was withdrawn on November 23, 1983:

Itemization, by year expended, of the professional staff hours and contractual costs.
2.
Professional staff hour rates used, and 3.
An extension of the due date for payment of the bill "... pending final detensination of the amount of the balance claimed for review of the Skagit/Hanford application."

Company to the Commission's office in Bethesda, Maryland, to review the -
records and select the information needed. Arrangements for the review should be made through our office.
The Commission holds complete records of all staff effort and contractual services costs expended in the review of the Skagit/Hanford 1/2 CP application. These records are voluminous and are maintained by each of the offices involved in the review.

We have reviewed your statement in support of your request for extension of the due date and have concluded that it does not meet the requirements of 10 CFR 15.31. Therefore,'your request for extension is not granted.
We call to your attention again that the amount of the billing ($1,118,000) of the application for construction permits (y expended by NRC in review is substantially less than the amount actuall
$2,036,896). Accordingly we do not see, realistically, any reduction in the fee that would result from the most intensive review of NRC records.
