Withdrawal of License Amendment Request Reaardina the incorporation of L* Steam Generator Tube Repair Criteria l
By letter dated January 9,1995, we submitted an application for amendment to the Prairie Island Technl cal Specifications. That license amendment request proposed changes to Technical Specification 4.12, " Steam Generator Tube Surveillance", to l
incorporate revised acceptance criteria for steam generator tubes with degradation in l
the tubesheet roll expansion region. Those criteria for steam generator tube acceptance are known as F-Star and L-Star. The F-Star portion of this license l
amendment request was approved by the NRC on May 15,1995. At this time, we wish to withdraw the remaining L-Star portion of this license amendment request.
i We have made no new Nuclear Regulatory Commitments in this letter. Please contact Gene Eckholt (612-388-1121) if you have any questions related to the withdrawal of the L-Star portion of our January 9,1995 license amendment request.
