In a letter dated April 4, 1996, Duke Power responded to NRC Bulletin 96-01.

In this response Duke stated that core maps for t.vo' future core designs (McGuire 1 Cycle 12 and Catawba i

i 2 Cycle 9) would subsequently be provided to the NRC.

These two future core designs are now complete and the requested information is included as Attachment 1 to this letter.

These additional core designs complete the Duke submittal of the information requested in Response Item 2 of NRC Bulletin 96-01.
