Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant Units Nos.1 & 2; Dockets Nos. 50-317 and 50-318 Safety Parameter Display System Gentlemen:
Your letter of October 23, 1984, requests certain additional information concerning the Calvert Cliffs Safety Parameter Display System (SPDS) to support your review of our June 6,1984, safety analysis submittal.
In reviewing the type of information desired, we find it necessary to request an additional thirty days to prepare our response. This additional time is required because we are currently in the midst of a design review cycle with our vendor, the result of which we anticipate significant design changes in some of the areas of interest.
We propose a December 27, 1984 deadline for submitting our response,which may take the form of a revised and augmented safety analysis.
