J. T. Merritt (lVGCO) to N. H. Williams (Cygna), " Design Change Tracking Group Data Base Review Questions," CPPA-40,387, dated August 10, 1984.

Gentlemen:

Cygna performed an unannounced review of the Design Change Tracking Group (DCTG) from 6/13/84 to 6/15/64.4 The results of this review are provided in the attached Cygna Report TR-83090-03, Rev. O, entitled "DCTG Data Base Review." As sunnarized in the Results section of the report, several discrepancies were observed. Based on the data base validation program that is still ongoing at CPSES and the nature of the discrepancies noted, Cygna finds that the DCTG data base is sufficiently accurate. In order for the conclusions to remain valid, TUGC0 should comply with the following recommendations:

1. DCTG should correct the discrepancies noted in the report.
2. TUGC0 should continue with and complete their program plan described in their August 10, 1984 letter from J. T. Merritt (lUGCO) to N. H.

Williams (Cygna).

Please contact the undersigned if you require additional information or wish to discuss the review.

Very truly yours, 00{ t' e:-Q o ec r $ki!a0k4MM A PDR cc: See Attachment
