Roland M. Parsons, being duly sworn, deposes and says as follows:

1. I, Roland M. Parsons, am Project General Manager,

~ Harris Plant Completion Assurance Section, Harris Nuclear Proj-ect Department, Carolina Power & Light Company. My business address is Route 1, Box 101, New Hill, North Carolina 27562. A complete statement of my professional qualifications and expe-rience is Attachment 2 to Applicants' Testimony of George A.

Kanakaris, Roland M. Parsons and Larry F. Garner in-Response to  :

Eddleman Contention 65 (Concrete Containment Structure), ff.

Tr. 5764. See also Tr. 5754-55. I have personal knowledge of the matters set forth herein and believe them to be true and Correct.

2. The Atomic Safety and Licensing Board's Memorandum and Order (Ruling on Certain Safety Contentions and Other Mat-ters), dated January 14, 1985 (served January 15, 1985), di-rected Applicants to post a notice at the Harris site inviting workers to communicate to the Board, on a confidential basis, any information on harassment due to efforts to raise safety concerns. The notice, which was attached to the Board's order, was to be posted in places where notices to employees customar-ily are placed at the site.
3. In response to ,the Board's order, I instructed post-ing of the required notice at each of the 41 locations listed in Attachment 1 to this affidavit. These locations include lo-cations where notices to employees are customarily placed, as well as additional locations selected to assure maximum cover-age. (Posting of the notice on the Part 21 notice display sta-tions required modification and extension of the boards.) Ex-amples of locations where th,e notice is posted are provided as copies of photographs in Attachments 2 through 5. Attachment 5, for instance, shows posting of the notice on the large bul-letin board in front of the main gate where construction workers enter the site.

4. All notices were posted by January 28, 1985. In ad-dition, spot checks are being performed on a weekly basis to verify that the notices are in place and have not been damaged.
