VIRGINIA ELECTRIC AND POWER COMPANf NORTH ANNA POWER STATION UNIT No. 2 PROPOSED TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION CHANGE Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.90, the Virginia Electric and. Power Company requests an amendment, in the form of a change to the Technical Specifications,. to Operating License NPF-7 for North Anna. Power Station, Ur.it No. 2.
The proposed change revises Technical Specification 3/4.4.7, Table 4.4-3, for North Anna Unit No. 2, to eliminate the requirement f rom sampling chlorides and fluorides when the reactor coolant system is drained below the reactor pressure vessel nozzles and the internals and/or het.d are in place.
The proposed change for North Anna Unit No. 2 4.s provided in Attachment 1.
A discussion of the proposed change is provided in Attachnent 2.
This request has been reviewed and approved by the Station Nuclear Safety and Operating Committee and the Safety Evaluation and Contiol Staff.
It has been determined that this request does not involve an unreviewed safety question as defined in 10CFR50.59 and it does not pose a significan hazards consideration as defined in 10CFR50.92.
We have reviewed this request in acc ordance with tl6e criteria in 10 CFR 170.12.
A voucher check in the anount of $150 is enclosed as an application fee.
