Dear Mr. O'Reilly:
Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.54(p), please find attached five (5) copies of Revision 6 to the Catawba Nuclear Station Plan. Revision 6 is submitted as the overall resolution of Nuclear Security concerns expressed to Duke Power Company by you and your staff and reflects the Duke Power Company commitments and responses agreeded upon by Region II and Duke Power Company during the recent past.
Specifically " Degraded Standby Shutdown Facility Operations" and
" Security Access Areas" are addressed in this plan revision. Illus-i trations (CSP-15-00,01 and 02) as referenced on page 15.1-1, paragraph 15.1 of the attached plan revision will be submitted at a later date.
Revision 6 does not decrease the effectiveness of the Catawba Nuclear Station Security Plan.
This material is applicable to security provisions at Catawba Nuclear Station; therefbre, Duke requests that this material be withheld from public disclosure pursuant to 10 CFR 73.21.
