On October 4,1982, PGandE submitted a generic (non-component-specific) program plan for inservice inspection, repairs, and replacement at Diablo Canyon Unit 1 under Section XI of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code,1977 Edition, including the Summer 1978 addendum (Section XI). The program has since been revised and made applicable to both units at Diablo Canyon.
It is described in Diablo Canyon Administrative Procedure C-755, "ASME Section XI Repair / Replacement Program," Revision 3.
The enclosed copy of this procedure is submitted as required in Section XI, Paragraph IWA-1400 Kindly acknowledge receipt of this material on the enclosed copy of this letter and return it in the enclosed addressed envelope.
