DIABLO CANYON - COMMISSION ORDER REGARDING CONSIDERATION OF EARTHQUAKES AND EMERGENCY PLANNING i'
On April 3,1984, the Comission issued an Order in the Diablo Canyon proceeding regarding consideration of the complicating effects of earthquakes in the context of emergency planning, CLI-84-4, copy attached.
This Order requires that the Staff (and other parties) respond to several issues raised by the Comission (on pages 2 and 3). by May 3,1984.
Except for issue 3.(e), the Staff should develop an appropriate response; this office, in consultation with the Staff, will prepare a response to issue 3.(e)..
We are also looking into the question of whether the licensee's submittal..

referred to in issue 3.(b), has already been provided to the parties, to avoid any unnecessary burden on Staff resources.
To assure a timely response to the Comission draft molies should be provided to Lawrence Chandler, OELD by April 24, 1984.
