ARTEMIS/RELAP INTEGRATED TRANSIENT ANALYSIS METHODOLOGY (EPID: L2018TOP0034)

Dear Mr. Peters:

By letter dated August 28, 2018 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession Number ML18242A443), Framatome, Inc. (Framatome) submitted for U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff review and approval Topical Report (TR)

ANP-10339P, Revision 0, ARITA -ARTEMIS/RELAP Integrated Transient Analysis Methodology. Upon review of the information provided, the NRC staff has determined that additional information is needed to complete the review. On April 13, 2020, Jerald Holm, Framatome Licensing Engineer, and I agreed that the NRC staff will receive the response to the Request for Additional Information (RAI) questions by December 31, 2020.

The proprietary version of the RAI questions has been shared with Framatome (Jerry Holm and Gayle Elliott) via the Box file sharing system.

The proprietary information in the RAI questions has been marked but that information has not been redacted The RAI questions in ADAMS are identified as nonpublic so they can be declared an Official Agency Record. When responding to the RAI questions, please provide a proprietary and nonproprietary version of both the RAIs and the responses. Your formal response, provided via letter under authorized signature, will generate the public version of the RAIs as well as the responses.

This email will also go in ADAMS and will be declared public.
