'1his letter provides the final report submitted pursuant to 10CFR50.55(e) concerning the "B" standby diesel generator left bank turbocharger at Wolf
}
Creek Generating Station. Wis matter was initially reported on May 4, 1984 with supplanental information provided in the reference.
As indicated in the reference the turbocharger failure was apparently the result of a loose lock nut on the left bank turbocharger lubricating oil i
pump centrifuge. We damaged turbocharger has been repaired and the other I
standby diesel generator turbochargers were instpected to preclude any l
similar failures.
l We aforementioned corrective actions have been completed. If you have any questions concerning this matter, please contact me or Mr. Otto Maynard of my staff.
