s Attached is Public Service Company of Colorado's report on the evaluation of the reserve shutdown absorber material.
contains the overall evaluation of the material and includes discussions concerning causes and resolutions of' the problem.
Attachments 2-through 5 are.in response to questions raised by the Region IV Staff during the January 15, 1985 meeting in Dallas, Texas. contains a tabular comparison'of purchase specifications for the B4C material manufactured by Union Carbide Corporation (UCC) and Advanced Refractory Technologies (ART). Specifications 12-D-1, Revisions B and C are, respectively, the specifications for the original UCC absorber material.and the material currently in the Fort

Specification 12-D-14 is the purchase specification for the new absorber material presently being manufactured by ART. contains copies of-Purchase Specifications _12-D-1, Revision B and 12-D-14 for your use in evaluating the old and new material. Attachment 4 is in response to a question posed in the Dallas meeting concerning the adequacy of the
' hopper' drop test surveillance. At.tachment 5 is in response to a request to submit a report on the blending of the absorber material manufactured by ART that is presently-stored in the Fort St. Vrain warehouse.
