.This is to advise'you that the Limerick Generating Station Unit.I fuel. loading was begun on October 26, 1984 with 9-the-issuance of a Low Power Facility Operating License by the J.

NRC.

Fuel loading operations-went very well and were completed-s, on Novembe.r 12.

After completing a number o'f required surveillance tests and satisfying.licen'se conditions,iinitial criticality was

achieved on the morning of December 22.

Low power testing is presently in progress and is expected to be completed by the end T

of the month, at which time we.will be ready to receive a full i

power operating license and cont'inue 'the power ascent.
