t This wRI acknoMed0e the concern addressai in NRC memorandum NRC-924323 regarding NRC assossment of the May 27,1992 response to Notice cf Devistion as delineated in Report Nos. 50-325/92 04 and 50-324/92 04. Carolina Power and Ught Company bollovos the May 27,1992 response to the subject Notice of Deviation addressed the significant issues as cited; however, in an effort to ensure future commitments are maintained, the following actions are being takon:
a.
A review of the Factity Automated Commitment Tracking Systom (FACTS) is being conducted to determine if commitments identiflod as being ' regulatory required have exceeded their committed over due date. This review is expected to be completed by July 15,1992.

NRC docketed cc,Tespondence for the past three years is being reviewtKi to identify commitments, ensure the commitments ar6 captured on FACTS, and that they are kjentified as being regulatory based. This review encompasses approximately 2700 documents and -
will requito an estimated 4000 man-hours.
The results of the aforementioned NRC docketed correspondence twiew will be used to determine the need for an effectiveness review of the existing regulatory related commitment tracking system. This review, if required, will be used to identify deficiencies and to develop a corrective action plari.
